ABOUT US

Origin of the Company Name

“Cuorips” is a combination of “Cuore,” an Italian word meaning “the heart,” and “iPS,” which stands for “induced pluripotent stem” cells.

Philosophy

Cuorips is a team of world-class professionals bringing together leading iPS cell technology and cutting-edge science to conquer previously untreatable diseases.

The social implementation of RIHEART®, our pioneering cell sheet, was just the first step toward the future of medicine. Today, we are accelerating the development of minimally invasive catheter-delivered therapies, alongside the creation of innovative small molecule programs designed to regenerate systemic tissues through oral and injectable therapies.

Leveraging VMaCS—our robust industrial platform capable of mass-manufacturing and stably delivering cell therapies—we extend our horizon beyond Japan to transform the very infrastructure of global healthcare.

Guided by our mission, ‘Moving Hearts, Connecting Lives,’ we bridge technology with empathy, science with humanity. We are committed, with the utmost urgency and precision, to pioneering a future where people worldwide can live healthy, fulfilling lives for as long as they live.”
